Robinson Crusoe Island Beach Hideaway

Duration: Half Day or Full Day

Meeting Point: Turtle Cove Marina

The Turks and Caicos Islands are world-renowned for beautiful, crystal clear waters, abundant wildlife and powdery white sand beaches and no visit is complete without spending at least one day on or in the warm ocean waters! There are a multitude of small cays (islands) around in addition to many private and secluded beaches.

Whether your party is planning a romantic memory for two, a family reunion or a wedding party, we will help you design your perfect day and ensure you and your guests have an experience they will remember forever.

This adventure brings out memories of Robinson Crusoe. As we leave the marina from the south side of Provo, we cruise east and view Grace Bay Beach resorts and the villas of the rich and famous. We stop and dive/snorkel near Iguana Island for conch and lobster which can be easily caught while snorkeling the shallow waters off our remote island. We continue on to Half Moon Bay where you can explore the island. Options include stopping at Iguana Island ( Little Water Cay), visiting the Sand bar in the middle of the ocean, the sunken cannons of Fort George. The captain can customize this trip to best suit your needs, including stopping at one of the secluded and private beaches for you to explore.

For full day trips we can go travel a little further and include a tasty BBQ lunch. The captain can clean and fillet your fish on board and grill it in front of you, served with a beautiful salad.

West Caicos Adventure Tour

Duration: 3/4 Day or Full Day

Meeting Point: Turtle Cove Marina

The West Caicos Adventure Tour departs from the Turtle Cove Marina and heads due east go through Leeward Channel. After a relaxing 60 minute cruise we will reach West Caicos, where we will stop and explore the hiding spot of famous Pirate Ann Bonny. Here she would back her vessel into a hidden cove and wait for a ship to plunder. Once spotted, she would attack with her speedy ship.

In this cove you can jump from the cliffs into the deep clear ocean waters. From here we can explore hidden beaches along the island. Check out the abandoned rail line which was used by the Sisal plantation to move their product. Get back aboard for the amazing food prepared by your crew. Time permitting, we can cruise towards Molasses Reef where the shipwreck Invincible rests. Molasses Reef is the site of numerous shipwrecks including the oldest known Spanish 3-masted ship circa 1513. Not much remains but it is said that one of Christopher Columbus’s ships lost its anchor here.

This full day trip goes a little further and include a wonderful BBQ lunch. The captain can clean and fillet your fish on board and grill it in front of you and serve it with beautiful salad, grilled vegetables, rice & peas and finish with freshly cut fruit and sweet pastries. Whale Watching Tour

Duration: Full Day

Meeting Point: Turtle Cove Marina

This is a seasonal tour and only runs from mid-January to the end of March. It differs slightly each year, but this is the time when the majestic humpback whales frolic in the ocean off our shores in the crystal-clear warm waters of TCI. They have migrated down from Newfoundland, Canada and the North Atlantic to find a mate and then return a year later ( 11.5 months) to give birth to their calves, who they are now are teaching how to dive and feed. These whales are only here for a short period before embarking on their northern migration to the feeding grounds.
Take a photograph of a whale breeching and then showing off its tail. By sharing the photo of the whale’s tail flute with the Turks and Caicos Islands Whale Project they will later identify and track the whale and you can watch its progress as it migrates through the North Atlantic.
