Fully air-conditioned salon, full galley, head and 2 staterooms, powered by twin Caterpillar Diesel engines. Equipped with top of the line Penn & Shimano fishing gear. Mahi Mahi Fishing in Turks and Caicos

The Turks and Caicos Islands are world-renowned for their year-round fishing opportunities but the months of November through March are especially plentiful. Wahoo, Black Fin Tuna, Grouper, Snapper, Bonefish and many more are in their high fishing season during these months, but it has been an especially terrific season for landing some beautiful Mahi Mahi. What are Mahi Mahi? Mahi Mahi are a relatively large fish and are also known by the name Dorado or Dolphin Fish (no relation to dolphins). An average fish weighs in between 15 and 30 pounds and Mahi Mahi are known as prized fish for eating because their mild flavour delights even the most sensitive palates. Flats Fishing in the Turks and Caicos

  The Turks and Caicos Islands are a great spot for flats fishing although they aren’t as commonly known for this type of fishing as are some of our neighbours, such as the Bahamas. What makes flats fishing in the Turks and Caicos so unique is that you are able to fly fish for the elusive bonefish right from land and you don’t necessarily require a guide to take you out. There is quite a skill required to flats fish in the Turks and Caicos due to the windier conditions that are found in these islands.
